General Provisions
This Refund Policy / Политика возвратов (hereinafter, the "Policy") applies to all payments made by users in favor of NAVIA through the website, mobile application, Stripe, Apple App Store, Google Play, bank cards, or other available payment methods, including subscriptions, tokens, boosts, digital gifts, consumable features, and voluntary project support.
The user accepts this Policy when purchasing, subscribing, buying tokens, a boost, re-display of a profile, account top placement, a digital gift, a consumable feature, voluntary NAVIA support, or any other paid digital NAVIA feature.
If this Policy conflicts with mandatory provisions of applicable law, consumer rights, Apple App Store rules, Google Play rules, Stripe rules, bank rules, or other payment provider rules, the corresponding mandatory provisions and rules apply. Nothing in this Policy limits user rights that cannot be limited by law.
Core Refund Principle
NAVIA provides digital services and digital features, including subscriptions, tokens, boosts, consumables, digital gifts, and additional capabilities, which may become available to the user immediately after payment. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, paid digital features, activated services, spent tokens, sent digital gifts, and voluntary support are generally not refundable after provision, activation, or use.
Purchasing a paid NAVIA feature is not a guarantee of likes, matches, messages, dates, relationships, marriage, spiritual compatibility, increased profile popularity, or any other specific outcome. The absence of an expected outcome alone is not grounds for a refund.
Payments That May Be Considered for a Refund
NAVIA may consider a refund request in the following cases:
- erroneous duplicate charge for the same product or period;
- a NAVIA technical error due to which a paid feature was not provided to the user;
- token purchase was paid for but tokens were not credited to the user's balance due to a confirmed NAVIA technical error;
- inability to access a paid feature due to a confirmed failure on NAVIA's side;
- tokens were debited but the corresponding digital feature, consumable, or gift was not provided due to a confirmed NAVIA technical error;
- unauthorized payment confirmed by the bank, payment provider, or NAVIA's review;
- cases where a refund is mandatory under applicable law or Apple App Store, Google Play, Stripe, or other payment provider rules;
- other exceptional cases at NAVIA's discretion, if this does not violate the law or user rights.
When a Refund Is Usually Not Provided
Unless otherwise required by applicable law or payment provider rules, NAVIA usually does not provide a refund in the following cases:
- the user changed their mind after purchase;
- the user expected more likes, views, matches, messages, or communication;
- the user used tokens, activated a consumable feature, sent a digital gift, or gained access to a purchased digital capability;
- the user did not use a paid feature of their own accord;
- the user voluntarily supported NAVIA and changed their mind about support after payment, unless a refund is required by applicable law or payment platform rules;
- premium subscription was active and available to the user during the paid period;
- a boost, re-display, or account top placement was activated, started, completed, or partially used;
- the user's account was restricted, blocked, or deleted due to violation of the Terms of Use, Community Guidelines, law, or security requirements;
- the user subscribed and did not cancel before the next billing date;
- the user gave account or payment access to a third party;
- the request relates to bank fees, currency conversion, exchange rate differences, or other third-party costs.
Subscription and Auto-Renewal
NAVIA premium subscription is provided on a monthly basis unless a different term is expressly stated before purchase. The subscription may automatically renew until cancelled by the user.
Cancelling a subscription stops future charges but does not always mean a refund for an already paid period. After cancellation, the user usually retains access to premium features until the end of the already paid period, unless otherwise provided by Apple App Store, Google Play, Stripe rules, the selected payment method, or applicable law.
If the user did not cancel the subscription before the next billing date, such charge may be considered valid. A refund for an already started billing period is possible only in cases provided by law, payment provider rules, or a separate NAVIA decision.
Boosts and One-Time Purchases
Boosts, re-display of a profile, account top placement, and other one-time digital features may be activated immediately after payment or within a technically necessary time.
After activation, commencement, completion, or partial use, such features are generally not refundable unless otherwise required by law or unless NAVIA confirmed a technical error due to which the feature was not actually provided.
The user understands that a boost or account top placement increases visibility or display priority within available NAVIA mechanics but does not guarantee a specific number of views, likes, matches, messages, or relationships.
Tokens, Digital Gifts, and Consumable Features
NAVIA tokens are internal digital units of the service and are used only within NAVIA. Purchasing tokens is not purchasing money, electronic money, cryptocurrency, an investment product, a financial instrument, or a means of payment.
If tokens were credited and not used, NAVIA may consider a refund request on an exceptional basis if permitted by law, Apple App Store, Google Play, Stripe, or other payment provider rules and technically feasible.
If tokens were spent, a digital gift was sent, a boost was activated, or a consumable feature was started or provided, a refund is usually not issued except where mandatory by law or due to a confirmed NAVIA technical error.
Digital gifts are not money transfers between users. The gift recipient has no right to demand monetary compensation, withdrawal of funds, or exchange of the gift for money.
Voluntary NAVIA Support
Voluntary NAVIA support is a payment in favor of the NAVIA project and is not an investment, loan, equity purchase, security, third-party crowdfunding, payment for a guaranteed result, or a charitable donation with a tax benefit.
Because voluntary support is made at the user's initiative and is not a purchase of a specific guaranteed feature, such support is usually not refundable after payment confirmation, except where a refund is mandatory by law, payment platform rules, or a separate NAVIA decision.
If the user received a symbolic digital thank-you sign, badge, or other non-material element for support, such element is not a financial right, equity, refund obligation, profit guarantee, or special benefit unless otherwise expressly stated before payment.
Purchases via Apple App Store and Google Play
If a purchase was made via Apple App Store or Google Play, refund, cancellation, change, or dispute requests may be reviewed by the relevant app store under its rules. In such cases, NAVIA may be technically limited in its ability to refund the payment directly to the user.
The user should submit requests for such purchases through the Apple App Store or Google Play interface or via the relevant store account. NAVIA may provide informational support, but the final refund decision may be made by Apple, Google, or another app store operator.
Purchases via the Website, Stripe, or Bank Card
If a purchase was made via the NAVIA website, Stripe, bank card, or another direct payment channel, a refund request should be sent to NAVIA support at info@navia.land.
To review the request, the user must provide:
NAVIA may request additional information if necessary to verify the payment, prevent fraud, confirm account ownership, or comply with payment provider requirements.
- NAVIA account email or identifier;
- payment date and amount;
- name of the purchased product or feature;
- payment method, if known to the user;
- brief description of the reason for the request;
- documents or screenshots confirming a payment error or technical failure.
Request Review and Crediting Timeframes
NAVIA aims to review refund requests within a reasonable time after receiving sufficient information from the user. The actual crediting timeframe depends on the bank, payment system, Stripe, Apple, Google, or another payment provider.
Even if NAVIA approved a refund, funds may not appear on the user's account immediately. NAVIA does not control bank crediting timeframes, bank fees, currency conversion, or internal payment system procedures.
Right of Withdrawal for EU, EEA, and UK Users
If the user is a consumer from the EU, EEA, or United Kingdom, they may have the right to withdraw from a distance contract within the statutory period. Special rules and exceptions may apply to digital services and digital content, in particular if the user consented to immediate provision of a digital service or feature and acknowledged that they may lose the right of withdrawal after performance begins, where permitted by applicable law.
NAVIA may ask the user at purchase to confirm that they wish to access the digital feature immediately after payment and understand the consequences of such immediate provision for the right of withdrawal. If such confirmation is required by law and was not obtained properly, user rights apply to the extent provided by law.
This section does not limit mandatory consumer rights. If the law of the user's country provides a higher level of protection, such mandatory rules apply.
Unauthorized Payments, Fraud, and Disputed Transactions
If the user believes a payment was made without their authorization, they should immediately contact NAVIA support and/or their bank, payment provider, Apple App Store, or Google Play, depending on the payment method.
NAVIA may temporarily restrict access to paid features, suspend the account, request additional information, or block suspicious transactions if there are signs of fraud, abuse, account compromise, security breach, or unlawful use of payment data.
If the user initiates a payment dispute, bank refund, or chargeback, NAVIA may participate in the dispute procedure and provide the payment provider with evidence of purchase, feature activation, service use, acceptance of terms, and other information necessary to protect NAVIA's lawful interests.
Consequences of a Refund
If a refund is approved, NAVIA may terminate or restrict the user's access to the relevant paid feature, subscription, tokens, token balance, boost, re-display, account top placement, digital gift, consumable feature, or other digital product for which payment was refunded.
If the refund is related to the user's violation of NAVIA terms, abuse of refunds, fraud, payment disputes, or suspicious activity, NAVIA may apply additional measures in accordance with the Terms of Use and Community Guidelines.
Promotional Offers, Discounts, and Free Periods
NAVIA may offer promotional offers, discounts, trial periods, bonuses, or special terms. Such offers may be limited by time, country, device, payment method, user category, or other conditions.
If the user received a paid feature at a discount, promotional price, or under a special offer, any possible refund amount cannot exceed the amount actually paid by the user for the relevant purchase.
Changes to This Policy
NAVIA may update this Policy at any time. Non-material changes may take effect upon publication of the updated version on the website, in the application, or in another available place. Material changes may be communicated to users via the application, website, email, push notification, or another reasonable method if required by applicable law.
Continued use of paid features after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
